About

The Book of Proverbs 27:2
Let another praise you, and not your own mouth;
a stranger, and not your own lips.

Welcome to my website!
My name is Tamás Remetei.

I enjoy fishing, mushroom foraging, and collecting medicinal herbs.
I cultivate a small garden without chemicals and keep poultry free-range, without feed, using broody hens to hatch old Hungarian heritage breeds.
I also enjoy grafting fruit trees.

Three years ago, by combining medicinal and spice herbs (which are also medicinal, just tastier), I succeeded in making a tincture using homemade fruit brandy.
I do not dare to call it a “healing tincture,” because the pharmaceutical industry no longer even allows the chamomile blossom to state what it is good for.

We still know the effects of individual medicinal herbs.
Our children, however, are only allowed to read the method of preparation on product packaging.
The laws no longer permit us to state which plant is good for what.

Therefore, I can only describe the preparation process myself.
As for what it is good for, “I cannot tell anyone,” but I have drawn it on the packaging.
Play with the letter T, and if you understand it, then tell everyone!

The product label was inspired many years ago by András Balczó.
I even recorded it, thank God—you can watch it in the video attached below the photos; it has several parts.

Preface

I cannot tell anyone,
So I will tell everyone.
I tried to whisper it, by mouth and by ear,
To all of you, one by one, separately.
The secret that amounts to the same anyway,
And that no one can know but one and one.
The secret for which, once in secrecy,
I came into the world in blood and mire,
The word, the secret, the tiny miracle,
That I might find the other one
And whisper into their ear: pass it on.
I cannot tell anyone,
So I will tell everyone.
